GATES OPEN DAILY AT 8:00 a.m.
TUESDAY, AUG. 26TH
8:00 a.m. 4-H Horses MUST be on Fairgrounds
9:00 a.m. 4-H Light Horse Classes begin
4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall opens for Entries - Open Adult, Open Youth, Special & Professional (NO 4-H ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME)
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 27TH
9:00 a.m. 4-H Light Horse Classes continue from previous day.
11:00 – 7:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall opens for ALL Entries – 4-H & Open
3:00 p.m. Sign-up begins for Open Horse Performance Event & Open Horse Halter Classes.
5:00 p.m. Open Horse Halter Classes – Light Horse & Draft Horse, to be followed by Open Horse Performance Events (classes located in horse arena).
7:00 p.m. All Booths – 4-H, Commercial, Political & Exhibit must be completed by this time.
THURSDAY, AUG. 28TH
9:00 a.m. 4-H Light Horse Exhibition Classes (premium points will not be available for these classes).
10:00 a.m. EXHIBIT HALL & QUILT PAVILION (IN CAROUSEL BLDG.) CLOSED, LOCKED & OFF LIMITS ALL DAY FOR JUDGING.
12:00 p.m. Livestock, Dogs, Cats, Cavies, Companion Animals, Rabbits, & Poultry MUST be on Fairgrounds. (4-H & Open animals)
4-H Livestock Market Animals Weigh-in
2:00 p.m. 4-H Livestock Judging Contest (Ferry County 4-H’ers to pick up judging cards at Livestock Arena).
4:00 p.m. 4-H Light Horse Judging Contest (Ferry County 4-H’ers to pick up judging cards at Horse Arena).
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Afternoon Program Sign-up for Friday Arena Games (arena office behind announcer booth).
FRIDAY, AUG. 29TH – KIDS DAY AT THE FAIR
YOUTH (AGES 6 TO 17 YEARS) ADMITTED AT A REDUCED RATE OF $2.00 FOR THE DAY
8:30 a.m. Judging of 4-H & Open Class Livestock begins (Beef, Goat, Llama, Sheep & Swine).
4-H Small Animal Judging Contest – Poultry & Rabbit (judging cards to be distributed at the time of the contest).
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Afternoon Program Sign-up for Friday Arena Games (arena office behind announcer booth).
9:30 a.m. Judging of 4-H & Open Poultry & Rabbit Conformation Classes
10:00 a.m. Exhibit Hall opens to the Public.
Judging of 4-H & Open Cat, Cavy & Companion Animal
11:00 – 4:00 p.m. ARENA PROGRAM for Kids Day at the Fair ~ Program Features: Kids Grand Entry, Contests, Races & many other events for the Youth of our Area. (All horse contestants must wear safety approved helmets & boots.)
11:30 a.m. 4-H Small Animal Showmanship (Cat, Cavy, Companion Animal, Poultry & Rabbit).
3:00 p.m. 4-H & Open Dog Agility Classes
4:30 p.m. 4-H Demonstrations & Public Speaking - Features: Top Ferry County 4-H Winners.
4-H Fashion Review (Ferry County 4’H’ers to model project garments constructed & awards will be presented).
4-H Performing Arts Show - Features: Top Ferry County 4-H Winners.
6:00 p.m. SENIOR PONY EXPRESS – 1st Heat
7:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall Closes
7:00 p.m. NEW THIS YEAR ~ WILD WEST SHOW featuring Brian Bausch
SATURDAY, AUG. 30TH
8:30 a.m. 4-H Livestock Showmanship – beginning with Swine, Sheep, Beef, Goat & Llama.
9:00 a.m. Exhibit Hall Opens to the Public.
9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Afternoon Program Sign-up for Arena Games (arena office behind arena announcer booth).
10:00 a.m. 4-H Pet Bowl
Judging of 4-H & Open Dogs (Obedience)
4-H Dog Showmanship
NOON: AFTERNOON PROGRAM begins ~ Featuring: Professional Horse Racing, 2nd Heat Senior Pony Express, and many other exciting events.
1:00 p.m. 4-H Overall Large Animal Showmanship Round Robin (Grand Champions in each large animal department compete for overall 4-H Showman).
4:00 p.m. Lads & Lassies Lead Exhibition Competition
6:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall Closes
7:00 p.m. 4-H MARKET ANIMAL SALE – Located in the Fagerlie Livestock Pavilion.
9:00 p.m. BARN DANCE Featuring Theresa Edwards
SUNDAY, AUG. 31ST
8:45 a.m. 4-H Tractor Driving Contest Check-in for Pre-registered participants (Horse Arena).
9:00 a.m. 4-H Overall Small Animal Showmanship Round Robin (Grand Champions in small animal departments compete for overall 4-H Showman).
4-H Tractor Driving Contest begins (Horse Arena).
Exhibit Hall Opens to the Public.
9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Afternoon Program Sign-up for Arena Games (arena office behind arena announcer booth).
NOON: AFTERNOON PROGRAM beginning with the PARADE OF CHAMPIONS & SPECIAL AWARDS PRESENTATIONS
1:00 p.m. Professional Horse Racing, Senior Pony Express – Championship Race, and many other exciting events.
3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall CLOSES to the public and exhibitors so Volunteers can ready exhibits for release.
5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall Re-opens for release of entries (NO EARLY RELEASE PERMITTED).
