Welcome Ferry Country Fair Participants,
2024 is shaping up to be a fantastic year at the Ferry County Fair and I can’t wait for Labor Day weekend to get here so that we can all celebrate our 80th Ferry County Fair together.
I’d like to welcome all of our returning showmen and participants back to the fair, as well as, all those making this their first experience. A great time is sure to be had with all of the pre-fair and fair time events and opportunities happening. I’m sure that everyone’s market animals and livestock projects are coming along nicely and I’m certainly looking forward to seeing them all at this year’s fair.
2023 was the first year that I got to watch the horse showing at our fair and I now have a new appreciation for all the work that goes into these events and the high amount of skill required. I’m also looking forward taking in this year’s horse showing and will be there cheering you all on!
Each year we try and make the fair better and we’ve continued to refine our major fairgrounds improvements regarding the arena upgrades. The sounds system has been an ongoing set of challenges, that we feel confident that all the bugs are now worked out of. I can’t wait for you all to hear it!
As I reflect on what I know to be the best part of the Ferry County Fair, it’s the time spent with friends and family. I’m so proud that the fair can offer those experiences and memories to you all.
